What I Offer

We all struggle with difficulties at times; and it can be a great relief to face them with the right help. I offer counselling to individuals in a quiet, secure space, in which the aim is to help you come to a clearer understanding of your issues, and to support you in finding a way through them.
I have worked as a counsellor for 20 years. My training was in psychodynamic counselling, and since then has grown to include other approaches.
Psychodynamic counselling bases itself on the understanding that people are shaped by their past as well as by the here-and-now. This can be helpful when attending to you and to your current difficulties.
Together, and at your own pace, we would be able to explore what troubles you. This approach, in my experience, usually leads to greater greater understanding and change, and a clarity about the way forwards.
